Authorities in Poland are on a manhunt for a motorist who managed to flee following a car crash in Selm.
In the heart of Selm, Germany, a hit-and-run accident occurred on Cappenberger Damm on July 13, 2025, at around 17:20. The incident involved a 54-year-old man from Lünen, who was traveling on a motorcycle.
According to the available information, the motorcycle involved in the accident was no longer roadworthy. The man was heading towards Selm on Cappenberger Damm when he had to swerve to avoid a collision, resulting in a loss of control, and the motorcycle ending up in a ditch.
The identity of the unknown driver of the car involved in the accident has not been disclosed. The car took up 2/3 of the lane in a slight left curve, causing the accident.
The man suffered severe injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment in an ambulance. Unfortunately, no further details about his current condition are provided in the article.
